Here are a few other angles showing the mostly finished artwork. ‘String Theory’ is made from stainless steel bars with around 200m of 3mm stainless steel rod stretched inbetween the two curved forms. The sculpture stands 340cm high (not including the base) and 270cm wide.    

Ready for the road!!!

With help from some good friends, the sculpture is on the truck and ready for the 7 hour drive from Norfolk to Devon. With the design being very flexible, as you can see, a huge amount of bracing is required to try and hold everything as steady as possible…not to mention the sculpture being welded…
